Panzerfäuste is a fun 'Historo-Fantasy' miniature wargame setting, in which 28mm scale miniatures are used to depict the everyday struggles of standard 'Tolkienesque' fantasy races such as Orcs, Dwarves and Elves fight out battles with 20th century weaponry. We have started designing the first three factions and we are in a position to release the first two; The Dwarves and the Gnomes, with no problems. Our goal for this Kickstarter is to release some additional units for those two factions, as well as the Orcs and, if things go well, more factions on top of that. Inspired by Tolkien, Pratchett, the history of the two world wars and everything in-between;Panzerfäuste is split into two rule-sets. Both the Skirmish Game and Mass Battle-Game rules simulate all of the vagaries of modern warfare, including fatigue and morale, but also mix in a flavour of fantasy through racial traits, magickal spells and fantastic abilities. 

The game can be played using the Skirmish rules, with a Section of infantry or played using the Mass Battle rules which cater for collections at Platoon to Company level, with two or three Sections of troops, armoured support and a character or two making up the bulk of most games. This means that the average game of Panzerfäuste requires no more than 30 or so miniatures.

Broken Contract: Broken Contract 3D Printed Master Miniatures Preview

Broken Contract: After accumulating this pile of 3D printed parts they were shipped off to Valiant for casting. As of last week Valiant contacted me letting me know that silicon masters of all of these parts have been made and the master molds and first casts should be coming soon. From left to right the above models are Will Kollis - the Breaker Crew Leader, Micha Donelly, Overseer Billins (with alternate arm and head) and the Prod Gen-Mod with alternate arm. All of these models were part of the Kickstarter and represent what I believe to be a step forward for the quality and presentation of Broken Contract. More information here.
