Macrocosm: New Ancient Grudges 'Bonefields' Miniatures

Macrocosm: The Plan - To fund a range of Undead miniatures. Dwarves and Goblins. The Miniatures - We will be looking to fund a wide variety of interesting and fun sculpts, from Undead Dwarf Bezerkers to Undead Goblin Pokers and more (Over 60 new sculpts). We have plans for cavalry and artillery too if we can reach the funding for them. We will be producing the majority of these miniatures in resin. This is a step away from our normal manufacturing procedures and we are very excited by the standard and quality that our new caster is producing. 

Ancient Grudges - This will be our very own rules set in a fantasy world of our own creation. It will contain all the information you need to create a Undead Warband and go raiding against your foes. There will be several scenarios and a painting guide included as well as character progression for your heroes.

Macrocosm: Bonefields 'Ancient Grudges' Fantasy Wargame Rules Previewed

Macrocosm: Bonefields is a 2 player boxed game that introduces the rules system ‘Ancient Grudges’ to the tabletop. Set in a fantasy world, you take control of your own Undead Warbands, animated using Necromantic powers to continue the ancient war between the races of Dwarves and Goblins.

The battlefields are littered with the bodies of fallen warriors you will raise to fill your Warbands as you go raiding against your opponents for resources and to settle grudges of eons past. The boxed game contains 2 starting Warbands to help you get started. Each Warband contains 8 warriors with various weapons and armor, lead by either a Necromancer or a Vampire. The rules are currently undergoing some extensive playtesting with members of the community putting together their own Warbands for games.

Macrocosm Miniatures' Dwarves At Arms Kickstarter is entering it's final days with several new stretchgoals within reach. Interested in unusual and unique dwarf miniatures, please read on.

This project is to help us launch a range of Historical/Fantasy multi-part Dwarven miniatures. We are looking to get £2000 of funding to pay for the moulding and production of several new multipart miniature ranges of 28mm Dwarves. By joining our project as a backer you will be receiving your miniatures at a 20%+ discount (some are 33% like the Halfling horde!) on getting them at retail. You will also be reciving them well before their release dates to retail (several months in some cases).

Macrocosm: Fantasy Skirmish Game Short Wars and Miniature Range Previewed

Macrocosm: Short Wars is a skirmish Fantasy game based on a Company of your own design fighting for King/Queen/Dark Lord and country, raiding and plundering neighbors territories in search for fortune and fame.

We have 2 whole factions of miniatures that will be released this month. The Evil Goblins (Sculpted by Kev Adams the Goblin Master) and the Heroic Haflings (Kev Adams) with Dark Dwarves and their opposing cousins not long after them with some Ogre, Trolls and other big beasties to support them. Some of you will recognize some of the miniatures that were available for a limited time via White Knights blog. We have decided to take them from the small corner of the web and bring them to a bigger market. We have also teamed up with the chaps at Hasslefree to liberate some of their miniatures to add to the Shortwars world. We will be expanding on this range to take it from the 11 initial sculpts to a full faction of 40+ sculpts with cavalry and artillery. Check the miniatures here.

We intend to release over 200 individual sculpts over the next few months to give you variety to your skirmish games or to add some interesting flavors to your massed battle games. We will not be going to Kickstarter for the 1st 3 Armies and have funded the project ourselves. If we can get the support from the community then we will not need to use Kickstarter to fund future ranges. The rules and faction lists will be free to download online in the coming weeks, these will be updated with input from the community before we go to print later in the year. We are looking forward to bringing more whole ranges to your gaming table throughout 2016.

Macrocosm: New Science Fiction Skirmish Game and Miniatures

Macrocosm: Macrocosm is a 28mm Sci-Fi Skirmish game set in a future galaxy of excitement, rayguns, weird aliens and wonder.

Players take on the role of a group of adventurers and explorers, represented by a group of miniatures, where they play out scenarios and campaigns to determine the fate of the colonies and to further the glory of their chosen faction… and of course… to have fun!

Currently there are two complete forces that you can play, with many more planned for the future. Each faction has its own flavour and special rules, with over 20 individually sculpted models in each, including powerful heroes, stalwart soldiers, support weapons and even a couple of vehicles and large-sized troopers to really make an impact to your gaming experience… or just to collect and paint!

We have a free set of rules with army lists, to download from our website. We also encourage input from our customers and fans to help keep us up to date with what you would like to see in the vast and expanding universe of Macrocosm.
