Hobday & Hicks: New Fantasy Elf Marines Preview
Hobday & Hicks: The crew of the Liathon's Fury is a breed apart, honed by generations of maritime warfare. Born into a culture that reveres the sea, elven marines are raised from childhood to be gifted sailors while simultaneously training in the brutal discipline of close-fighting hand-to-hand combat.
Life aboard a warship is arduous, and the crew of the Fury have been hardened by the elements and the constant threat of battle. Their bond, as deep as the ocean they sail, is a testament to their shared trials and triumphs. They know each other's strengths and weaknesses, and their movements synchronise like a well-oiled machine, symbolising their unity and strength.
In the confined spaces of a ship, their elven agility is a formidable advantage. They can weave through the chaos of battle with uncanny ease, striking with lightning speed before vanishing into the shadows. Their opponents, often larger and slower, are ill-prepared for the elven whirlwind that engulfs them. Armed with a deadly combination of short elven blade, hand axe, and sea-hardened determination, the crew of the Liathon's Fury is murderous.
