Gamecraft: 1/285th Scale USS Wasp Aircraft Carrier Released

Gamecraft has released this huge and expensive 1/285th scale USS Wasp aircraft carrier. This model is a great way to display and show off your helicopters and anphibious vehicles. It would also be great as an off-board staging area for aviation elements that can be called into a game at any time. More pictures can be found here.

This is NOT a kit. When you order this model, you will be ordering a completely scratchbuilt, totally finished and painted modelexactly as you see in the photos. The top deck is removable to reveal the removable hangar deck and below that is the cavernouslower vehicle bay. The model includes LED and fiber optics lighting through the lower vehicle bay. 

Model is primarilly made from durable .060" acrylic with some resin cast parts and some compoistes. Model is built with durability in mind but please be aware that it still a model and will require some care and caution when handling and using in a gaming enviroment. The model does not include helicopters or aircraft shown in some of the photos. 

So, what does it cost? This is a custom built commission and it will be built as shown in the attached photos. If you would like anything in additon to what you see in the photos, that will effect the price. However, if you order the model exactly as it appears in the photos posted here thebase price will be $1500.00 plus shipping or delivery. When you order this item through this page, you will be charged a $250.00deposit to be placed into the production queue, and I will contact you directly to arrange payment of the balance due via check ormoney order. Shipping of a model like this might cost as much as $100.00 depenidng on where you live and will be billedseparately (I do not reccomend having this shipped outside the USA but I'll do it if you request that and are willing to pay for all related fees). If you are anywhere in the Southern California or Arizona area, I would be happy to meet you somewhere half way for apersonal delivery. 

When you order this model, standard lead times do not apply. Your model will be custom built for you, and this could take up to 2months but will more likely be about one month.

Gamecraft Wild West Buildings

Hi, I've recently received the permission of a fellow hobbyist at the Lead Adventure Forum to show some of his excellently painted Gamecraft Wild West Buildings. To be honest I had never heard of Gamecraft Miniatures before as during the last months, years lots of new small terrain company has been founded all using the great laser cutting machines. As many of these companies Gamecraft miniatures has cheap and nice modular buildings but what's different? Gamecraft has tons of them almost covering all scales and eras. Enough talking here are some pictures of one of their Wild West building painted by Verderer. First of all we have the assembled and painted kit from the Gamecraft website, I think this particular kit costs around €14 what a good price for a basic building.

Here are some pictures of the painted example by Verderer! I really love the chosen color scheme and was amazed by the level of detail that's on the kit just look at the windows and doors!

On this picture you can clearly see the excellent roof detail that has been added by Verderer himself!
