Badger Games: Pontoonier Miniatures has released phase I of what will be a series of releases for a new, 28mm range covering the Anglo-Goorkha War of 1814-16. This is the war that first introduced the British to the stalwart Gurkha warriors and began a relationship of mutual admiration that has spanned the centuries.
The initial offering includes multiple commands, warriors with muskets and warriors with a host of melee weapons including the ubiquitous Kukri. These gems were designed by sculptor extraordinaire Paul Hicks and capture the spirit of the brave Gurkha warriors who fought against and later for the British.
