On Bloody Ground - The Norman Conquest is a 64 page, perfect bound rulebook, with full colour glossy cover and 8 full colour internal pages, showcasing many of the units available in the army lists that are included. On Bloody Ground is built around common sense core rules, with brutal combat being an exciting feature of each game, and a system of orders that creates a new level of dynamic, exciting and challenging wargame.

This is the first in what will become a series of period specific rulebooks, complete with all of the required army lists and rules required to play. The rules are designed primarily for use with individually based 28mm miniatures, but can easily be adapted for use with any scale or basing. This first book in the series covers the Dark Ages in Britain between the 8th and 11th centuries and includes army lists for Saxons, Vikings, Normans, Irish, Scottish and Welsh. We have created a quick flip through of the rulebook, as well as some short gameplay videos on our YouTube channel which can be found here:
