Khurasan Miniatures: Releases 15mm 16th Century Irish

Khurasan Miniatures: We are very pleased to release our latest 15mm historical range, the Renaissance Irish from the 16th Century. This period culminated in the cataclysmic Tyrone's Rebellion, which was a disaster first for the English and then for the Irish. Only by great national effort was Elizabeth able to put down this rebellion, but once she did, all of Ireland fell under English rule for over 300 years.

Although these armies always contained traditional, essentially medieval elements, such as light cavalry, lightly-armed native Irish infantry, and heavily armoured Galloglaich axemen, later in the century, these forces also contained pikemen and arquebusiers, many of whom had experience fighting in the Spanish armies on the continent. The line is complete and contains the following and much more which can be found on the website.

Thanks for posting this. Love Khurasan miniatures. They have some great and obscure ranges.

Chris, They indeed have some obsure ranges and always seem to manage to complete them with all troops needed!

Cheers
