Brian S. Roe: Trash Bash Bits Part 2 Kickstarter Launched

Brian S. Roe: Trash Bash Bits Part 2 is now funding on Kickstarter to create even more cool, new plastic bits to help you create fun and affordable gaming terrain out of common household stuff!

Trash Bash Bits were created to make the crafting of wargame buildings faster and more fun by eliminating the need to scratchbuild doors and windows to add to projects. The first Trash Bash Bits Kickstarter campaign was very successful, and helped to create five designs of science-fiction doors and windows. Trash Bash Bits 2 will add to this collection with five new designs!

The castings of the first TBB campaign were enthusiastically praised by backers for being sharp and clean. The detail on the final castings actually looks sharper than on the prototypes! Plus they are lightweight and have flat backs so you can glue them easily to plastic, foamcore, styrofoam or any other common modeling material. R Squared Comics: Here's a new design of Trash Bash Bit that you can choose as a reward of this campaign.

Design #5 Window Gunport - A combination of high-tech window and gunport allows defenders a clear view as it gives them ability to fire weapons from within the safety of the building. The multi-layered window panes are easily replaceable after battle and contain small static generators to repel dust and dirt. (Please notice that each casting of the Window Gunport makes two windows but counts as one door for the purposes of this campaign.) R Squared Comics: Trash Bash Bits Sci-Fi Doors Steel Iris Door Unlocked

R Squared Comics: Here's the new Trash Bash Bits door, the Steel Iris. This seemed to be one of the more common requests so I made sure that it was included in this campaign. It's a classically simple device meant to open smoothly and close quickly and you just know that some poor jerk is going to get caught in between the sharpened steel petals and get snipped in half like a Twizzler between a hungry kid's incisors. It has been designed so that the base can be clipped off to create an octagonal portal for use in zero-G environments. You can now choose from any of the four doors to make up the total amount of doors included in your pledge level.

I'm still working out the details for amounts of doors greater than ten. I am verifying some cost questions with my caster and double checking shipping before I post this new level. R Squared Comics: Trash Bash Bits: Cheap Sci-Fi Doors Kickstarter

Just found this nice Kickstarter launched by Brian Roe of R Quared Comics which is currently funding a nice range of cheap science fiction doors to be used on scratchbuild buildings. There already three doors unlocked with more following after the weekend.

Spin-cast resin pieces for modeling and creating science fiction wargame terrain. Don't throw away your time. Use Trash Bash Bits! Trash Bash Bits will create great looking and simple to use parts and make them affordable enough so you can always have plenty on hand. They have flat backs and are thin enough to look good when glued to the outside of a building. Trash Bash Bits are ready to use after a quick cleaning with a file or sanding stick and are lightweight enough to not tear off of styrofoam or foam-core.

I'm starting with sci-fi doors, one of the most needed parts for creating wargaming buildings. My first goal of $350 will cover the molding and castings costs for one door. Each additional $350 will unlock a new door design. Backing levels are going to be kept very simple, $2 for one door, $9 for 5 doors, $15 for 10 doors. Like Trash Bash Bits I want this campaign to be simple and easy to use.

R Squared Comics: Kickstarter update new miniature!

Another update form the Zombie Plague Kickstarter from R Squared Comics: With a little over ten days to go we've noticed a real lull in the ZP Miniatures campaign. So to spark some excitement in this little venture I'd like to introduce our second stretch goal miniature: Dead Sexy the Zombie Pin-Up Girl. If we can reach $3700 with this campaign we will include a copy of Dead Sexy with each sponsorship of $20 or higher. Dead Sexy is the first character zombie in the revamped Zombie Plague and gets double action points compared to normal zombies. She still has to move like a zombie so she can't walk backwards, but these 4 APs give her a real edge when attacking. Each character zombie will have a card that is randomly shuffled into the card deck. When their card is pulled, the next zombie to be placed as a normal zombie will be replaced with the character zombie. This will give the zombie player some extra abilities and keep the humans on their toes since not every zombie will be the same old Joe.

R Squared Studios: Zombie Plague Miniatures Kickstarter

Hi, I just found this small kickstarter from R Squared Studios in an attempt to release four great zombie survivor sculpts. Interested in even more information or a pledge take look at their funding campaign.

"Since its first publication in 2001 Zombie Plague has always been a lot like an underground cult movie. Many of the people who've discovered ZP love it but it still remains pretty much unknown to the general gaming public. To help bring ZP to a larger audience in 2011 we launched a Kickstarter campaign to produce Zombie Plague: The Day From Hell, a combined double-sized comic book and refined version of the original board game rules. Working with my partner Ronda Pattison and the artists Phibbz Abando and Ryan Howe we produced a book that I am truly proud of and one that I can't wait to share with others."

Just found this news from R Squared Comics: "We just opened our online store featuring the double sized comic and boardgame rules for Zombie Plague: The Day From Hell. The rules have been streamlined and optimized for ease of play. We will be adding updates including new cards, map pieces, and character zombies in the future. All of the map pieces, paper miniatures, and cards needed for play are free to download from our website."

They will also release some miniatures to be used in the game! looking forward in seeing them!
