These figures are practically 1/48 busts so the absence of legs diminishes the “scale/size issue between 1/48 and 28mm figures. We think they can be pretty compatible with 28mm or 1/56 AFVs. (You may also get away with it using the crouching figure).

Oniria Miniatures: Old Guard at Plancenoit vignette

Just found this new vignette of Oniria Miniatures: Our new 28mm vignette can be now ordered! These extraordinary 28mm figures represent three characters of the Old guard grenadiers Plancenoit sweep up. As you may see the clubbing Drum Major Stubert figure is quite impressive and unique in this (and maybe other ) scales. We have really made a big effort to set the price of this three figure set at 12€.

Excellent for all those display and diorama builders! The clubbing Drum Major Stubert would be fun to use in a regular unit during a charge, isn't he?

Oniria Miniatures: 28mm Drum Mayor Stubert vignette

Hi, I just found this nice 28mm vignette from Oniria Miniatures: Here are some pictures of the sculpts of the next vignette I will be releasing through Oniria Miniatures. The idea was to represent Drum mayor Stubert during the Old guards’ Plancenoit sweep up. You will be able to get the figures separately or the three together as a vignette. If there is demand we will also sell the heads spare ones. (Also the grenadiers head).

Stuber’s head position may look awkward, but that is because the head goes with the neck, and there is a small “pin” that comes out of the body in order to securely fix the head. You just have to accordingly drill the neck and the head will fit perfectly. Or just simply cut the pin if you don’t want to drill and rely on a two flat surface bonding.

As for the scale/size/compatibility nightmare: We think we can say these are 28mm, even though they are slightly taller than the average 28mm figure. For those of you who might want to mix them with other figures I can assure that they are totally compatible with other brands. To confirm this I’ve included a fun comparison picture, which I think is quite interesting and revealing. We hope we can release these figures in about 4 or 5 weeks.

Hi, I just found this small company called Oniria Miniatures and has recently released this interesting 35mm Napoleonic vignette which represents the capture of the 69th Regimental Kings Color during the battle of Quatre Brass. The vignette comes with three characters and the some spare hands so you can customize the vigntte to recreate other similiar events during the Napoleonic era.
