Crooked Dice: Otherworld Miniatures' Figures Acquisition

Crooked Dice: We've been lucky enough to acquire over 100 pieces from Otherworld Miniatures following Richard well-earned retirement! We are delighted to add both Kev Adams and Kev White range of fantasy adventurers - as well as a good selection from Drew Williams. We also acquired the whole NPC range of tavern and townsfolk - and a handful of monsters that I have always loved. We will be releasing these steadily in the coming months, but meanwhile you can find all the current Otherworld miniatures in the catalogue tagged in the webstore at the link below - just search for Otherworld.

Crooked Dice: Harwood Hobbies Lovecraft Circle and Sinbad Ranges Acquisition News

Crooked Dice: Crooked Dice is delighted to announce that we have purchased Harwood Hobbies ranges of 28mm metal miniatures - Sinbad and Lovecraft Circle. We want to thank Wally Harwood for the opportunity and all the generosity and support during the handover of the ranges.

We stocked some of these wonderful sculpts years ago, and with the coming release of 7TV Fantasy Genre Guide, this range will provide lots of options for more cinematic skirmish casts! We also have a feature pack in the works to support the Sinbad range too. We look forward to continuing to make Wally’s figures available to you all, and plan to slowly release these over the next year… BUT we will have eight new Sinbad packs available at Colours this weekend - so come over and check them out on stand A01.

Crooked Dice: The second tranche of our 80s inspired minis and vehicles from the last kickstarter are now all available. There are also some new opponents for our Mutant Martial Artists - The Klaw and Alien Android! And finally the Alien Invader Shuttlecraft is also released.

Crooked Dice: Upcoming Price Rise Announcement

Crooked Dice: I have been holding off a change for as long as I could, but after 15 years, regretfully we have had to put prices up. Costs have gone up across all parts of the business over the past few years - and up until now we have absorbed them. However in the last two weeks, there has been a massive spike in the cost of raw materials - and unfortunately we are finally going to have to reflect that in our figure pricing. So with regret we have now rolled out a price rise out across all white metal figure packs. On average, the new prices are:

* Single figure - £5

* Two figure pack - £10

* Three figure pack - £15

* Four figure pack - £18

* Five figure pack - £20

This isn't a massive jump, in fact you may have noticed that we have already been pricing new releases close to this for the last few months. But we appreciate that your hobby budgets are already stretched these days, so have tried to keep these prices as close as we can to other boutique sellers - while making sure it's sustainable for us to keep running the business!

We will suck up the hit for the Mountains of Madness kickstarter, but will be assessing the impact that might have on delivery (if any) over the next couple of weeks. So apologies for this. We hugely appreciate the support you give Crooked Dice - and hope that this may long continue - even with this bump in the road!
