Victrix: Here are some renders of the first two heavy cavalry figures. Figure 1 is wearing Greek style Linothorax armour. He has two helmet options, reflecting both eastern and Hellenic influences. He also has two head options which both include the traditional Persian cap.
Figure 2 is wearing scale armour and has the option of being a standard bearer or an ordinary cavalryman. There is also a head option with a Greek style Attic helmet. The Greeks of Asia Minor were subject to the Persians and many Greek style bits of equipment would have been used by Persians alongside the more Eastern influences.
If you added a crescent shield he is not far off from looking like a Scythian Noble. They can be also used as Early Or late Achaemenid Persian cavalry and on into the successors wars and the army of Mithradates of Pontus. There will be plenty of conversion possibilities with these figures. More updates to follow.
