Offensive Miniatures: World War Two Italian Range

Just received this picture from Dave of Offensive Miniatures showing their newest miniatures for the upcoming Italian World War Two range. In the picture you can see Mussolini and his bodyguards or his guards as I'm not sure if these miniatures represent the early war or late war duche. I'm also not an expert of the Italian theatre of war so if somebody has a clue, let me know. Cheers!

Very nice - I always wondered what the guards for the Deuce should look like. Best, Dean

They are two Italian Infantrymen. The Italian uniforms never changed during the entire II World War and they were identical both during the Operation Barbarossa and in the Ethiopian campaign (italian troopers frequently swapped their inadequate equipment with captured english one). At least my grand-grandfather and his friends did so.

The Duce is wearing a normal informal dress, so it can be used during all the WWII period as well.
