Warlord Games: World War Two German Field Wagon!

Hi, I just seen this nice release from Warlord Games probably one of the most underestimated and under represented means of transportation of World War Two, the humble horse driven wagon that supplied the German Wehrmacht from Europe to the vast plains of Mother Russia. I really love this sort of support vehicles as they really add to the realism on the tabletop! This particular model is a German Field Wagon and is retailled for £18.00.

I really like the look of it as well, not sure how many people will be looking at buying it. £18 is a little steep but I dobt Warlord will make their money back on the cost of the mould as they would have to sell hundreds to get that back. Nice to see it though. Germany is often seen as being all vehicle driven but even in France they rellied on dobin, just look at pics of Falise Gap for the dead horses!

Saw the pictures of the Falise Gap, they are really horrofying! You're right the pricing is way to high but still they will need to sell hundreds of them. Luckily they have some other good selling products to take the eventual loss in account.

I would not sa way to high, given the work etc. but moulds for plastic cost extensivly more than for metal (though they wear out a lot slower) this is why many of the figures that will get low sales are still made of metal, less cash investment.

Anyone who does buy it though could with little thought make up a few scenarios around it. You are also right about the other lines being high sellers to offset the ones that do not make it.

Warlord are not far from where I live as are many of the British main suppliers (I live just outside Nottingham)

Hi, thanks for the information! You're probably right, that the price is good and really interested wargamers will pay that amount happily as it is a stunning kit.

Great, you live in the epic center of the wargaming industry!

Cheers
