Warlord Games: Babylonian Kings on chariot

Hi, here's one of Warlord Games latest releases, Babylonian Kings on a four horse driven chariot. I chose this particular release as I'm currently keeping an eye out for cheaper alternatives for the Lord of the Rings range made by Games Workshop as they are increasing their prices to the border of insanity and are switching to their Finecast resin for most of the characters. However this kit isn't cheaper it is a very nice replacement for the King of Harad Miniature with chariot! Tempted but I will probably pass due to its price of £17 what's a bit much for my tight budget.

I have been collecting up bits to build some scythed chariots and have been looking at this one to use in my Persian army. I agree with you about the price of the LOTR figures. I went to the new local GW shop to get a fellowship box set so I could play LOTR with my son and was astounded at the price increase. It looks like we will be playing with his LOTR lego minifigures.

Hi, if you're looking for a cheap fellowship you might look for the plastic one that comes with the mines of moria starter set they often pop up on ebay.

Their prices are just insane €30 for four miniatures (drummer, command and banner)? They are really exaggerating now and I only buy their stuff second hand!

Cheers and good luck with finding a cheaper alternative or the lego miniatures! If I stumbled on a cheap fellowship when buying a lot I will contact you.

I would appreciate that. The boy has picked up an interest in LOTR and I figured I could get him playing using the fellowship heroes. I never bought them but have plenty of men, elves and goblins to teach him the game.
