Empress Miniatures: We are extremely proud to announce that the first packs of Paul Hicks' exquisite new World War One range are in our shop and ready for ordering. Just in time for the 100th anniversary of the start of World War One Paul has pulled out all the stops to produce these fantastic figures, which are exclusively available form Empress and our worldwide distributors.
Initially focusing on the early years of the war these figures are packed with character and an excellent attention to detail. With more packs due very soon, this is going to be a range to watch. We have stock arriving in the next few days but we are expecting high demand. With this in mind we have made these available to order now so that customers have a chance to get these as they are released. These can also be pre-ordered for a pickup at Salute! 2014.

Paul Hicks from Mutton Chop has announced the following: My idea is to first start with the BEF and Early War Germans. Once they are done I want to progress to later forms of kit. Really looking forward to this project. You will have to bear with me as I will be doing this range when I can fit it in with other work. I plan to do the BEF first and then work my way through the war. Keep your eyes peeled and I will post pictures as soon as they are back on the workbench.

Mutton Shop: It's been a while since I sculpted something for my own Mutton Chop range. With the birth of our daughter Lily we needed a range that would help with the bills and could hopefully mean that Lily would be cared by myself and Kerry. So I chose a range I wanted to do for a long time in my own style and pack selection. It's a period I first ever converted a Tamiya figure to way back in 1988 after buying my first ever Osprey book. Well this is the start of those new figures from over Christmas. Any guesses of what they could be? The dollies also have great uses for the current Mutton Chop range as well other Inter-War British These will go to the mould makers real soon and I look forward to getting stuck in.

Just found this excellent vehicle from Mutton Chop Miniatures: Those great people of Croydon have created a Frankenstein AVF. They have combined their Armoured van and add the track units from unfinished Carden loyd carriers. The Croydon/Cardon Loyd Halftrack. Comes without crew figure and retails for £15.00.
Excellent vehicle and extremely suited for the Very British Civil War, would he fit your militia or do you prefer more common vehicles such as regular armoured cars? And welcome to jgelder1!

Hi, I just found this interesting release form Mutton Chop: "The Bonaparte of Crime the sworn adversary of Super Sleuth Sheer Luck Basil. This Crime lord sports an extra large Cranium used to hatch devious plots. The pack also contains his trusted Henchman a disgraced Colonal of the Indian Army. He is armed with his customised Mauser rifle." These miniatures are now available for £5.00 the pair.

Hi, I just found this marvellous contraption when browsing the internet, a tracked 20mm Oerlikon with some British interwar crewmembers. This rather unusual vehicle is sold by Mutton Chop, the company of the talented sculptor Paul Hicks if I'm not mistaken. This relatively new company seems to specialise in "A Very British Civil War" range and has lots of interesting factions and units. This tracked gun sells for £12.00 and comes with three crewmembers. And a warm welcome to Sean, from Sean's Wargames Corner.
