Hinterland Miniatures: Three New Packs of Native Askari Released

Hinterland Miniatures: Hinterland shows some skin… You don’t know how long I’ve been wanting to say that – heh heh. Intended to complement the sailors, I present three packs of native Askari forces, including the command pack, a somewhat varied characters pack, and a unit builder pack. The Askari are led by a junior naval officer who seems to have gone a little native. 

I intend to commission an Askari Maxim crew as part of my next order, as well as some more uniformly dressed skirmishers. In other good news, additional greens, including more Trench Raiders, are already on their way across the pond, so there won’t be as big a gap between releases this time. Thanks for your interest.

Hinterland Miniatures: New Automaton, Vehicle Crew and Princess

Hinterland Miniatures: It's been a while, but I finally have some new Hinterland minis to release. Not a large collection, but certainly varied. First, an idea I started more than a year ago, is the Hinterland robot, aka: Autohusaren. This is a multi-part, semi-poseable, 40mm tall bodyguard/sidekick for the hussars. He's based on artwork by Matt Leahy, and is laboriously sculpted by Paul Hicks, who playfully (I think) hated me by the end of the process.

The second release is a vehicle crew, including a morale-lifting accordionist:

Finally, I have Princess Tatiana, a limited-edition reward mini for customers who spend at least $50 (before the added S&H). I have only fifty copies of her, and the only way there will ever be more is if I should attend a show or convention, in which case I reserve the right to cast some extras for the show. However, because I've never done this before, and because I live in the boonies, it's probably a safe assumption that there will be only the current fifty copies.

Hinterland Miniatures: Maxim gun, cavalry and gun crew

I'm pleased to announce a hodgepodge of new packs at Hinterland:  For the Trench Raiders, a lancer figure. This miniature was actually the suggestion of a customer, and the idea really appealed to me. Drawing on Captain Blood's recent medieval threads, this is the first horse I've ever painted: 

The Hussars get an oft-requested gun crew. I feel somewhat ridiculous offering a gun without a crew, but I received the request so many times that I eventually had to produce:

And finally, the sailors get the first piece of Hinterland ordnance in the form of the Maxim PomPom:

Hinterland Miniatures: New releases including flamethrower

Hi, I just found these new releases from Hinterland Miniatures, the source for your strange and weird World War One and Victorian Science Fiction needs! Led by a stalwart and heavily armed NCO, this flamethrower crew sneaks forward through the wire and empties their fuel tank on surprised foes, doing unspeakable damage. Kit out your Trench Raiders to accomplish loathsome work in the dead of night. 

This poor officer, first seen in the on-foot command pack below, gets more and more gristled. Still sporting her over-the-shoulder pelisse, she's added an eye patch to her swaggering, blustering appearance, and is accompanied by a bugler and a standard bearer (you supply the standard). Sculpted by Paul Hicks and mounted on eBob horses, these should just about round out your cavalry unit. The greatest customer demand has been for a mounted version of Princess Cecilie. Well, at long last, here she is. Sculpted by Paul Hicks and mounted on an eBob horse, she's ready to thwack her swagger stick on the crown of anyone who gets in her way. Unless you're into that kind of thing, you better steer clear.

Hinterland Miniatures: Pulp characters

Hi, I just found these new releases from Hinterland Miniatures! These excellent characters are sculpted by the talented Matt Bickley, and while they’re slightly larger in scale than the female of the species, they should look good next to miniatures from Pulp Figures, Copplestone, Brigade and whoever else sells pulp miniatures. The five miniatures retail for $15.00 and are now available for the public through the webshop. 

Hinterland Miniatures: Trench Raiders with rifles

Hi, here's the latest release of Hinterland Miniatures a pack of trench raiders equiped with rifles. This pack was created to add some variation in the previously released trench raiders with machineguns pack. From their website: "I'll tell you the truth, the Hinterland product that most stimulates my imagination is the Trench Raiders set. Many of you have expressed interest in troop types for this uniform, and as a result I have here a basic rifles pack. These are five uniquely posed miniatures, sculpted by Paul Hicks. Hinterland Miniatures: Ladies mounted on camels

Here's another release of Hinterland Miniatures, this time some Victorian ladies mounted on their ships of the desert ideal for victorian science fiction or just ordinary explorers! These particular miniatures including the little Arabian/ Touareg kid retail for $16.

Hinterland Miniatures: Lancers and dismounted Hussars

Hi, Here's another batch of new releases from Hinterland Miniatures! This time they are releasing some mounted lancers and some kneeling Hussars to add some variation to your units already in the field. For those who don't know about Hinterland Miniatures do not hesitate to visit his website as it is filled with Victorian Science Fiction and Lace Wars goodness!
