Crann Tara Miniatures: As the run up to Salute commences the first of the new releases start to appear. The early French hussars get some additional figures with two charging hussars. Crann Tara Miniatures: I am pleased to say that I expect to have stocks of the British Line infantry with me in the next couple of weeks. There are marching poses in both regulation and campaign dress and firing, charge bayonet similarly dressed. Crann Tara Miniatures: I am pleased to say that the first set of six Gallowglass for the Border Reiver and Irish wars are now ready. I have painted a full set up, all open handed to take either the mean looking axes or pike depending on your fancy. They will be in the shop over the weekend.Sculpted by Martin Baker he has aimed to make them fit in with the current range. Next up will be a pack of Gallowglass advancing/attacking.

Crann Tara Miniatures: Graven Images Ranges Released

Crann Tara Miniatures: I am pleased to say that Alan (Hoka Hey wargames) and I have reached agreement with Steve from Monolith designs to start producing the 40mm (1/48th) figures he sold under the Graven Images label. First to be released are Cliff Hanger (characters and warriors from TV and Cinema sci fi- Gorrilla warriors, Flash Gordon etc) and Gotterdamerung ( WWII meets the occult so we have standard Russian,German and British troops and then throw in Zombies, vampires, werewolves etc) I shall be listing these ranges in the shop over the festive break, initially they will be cast to order so please allow 21 days for delivery. If sales are ok Steve has a large number of masters we would like to get in to production.

We also have a limited stock of some figures from the Disturbia range (Sandmen, Ju-Ju warriors and very nasty scarecrows) I will also be listing these. They will be sold at the 2007 price and when they've gone that's it. More pictures can be found here.

Crann Tara Miniatures: More Graven Image Miniatures Released!

Just received this splendid news from Crann Tara Miniatures: We have reached agreement with Steve of Monolith Designs to start releasing the 40mm range of figures he formerly sold under the Graven Images label. The first two ranges to be released are 'Cliffhanger' (TV and Movie Sci Fi) and Gotterdamerung ( World War 2 occult). 

All the figures in the ranges were sculpted by the late Jim Bowen and depending on sales Steve still has a large number of 'greens' for the above ranges we would like to see put into production. The figures are all 1/48th scale (36-40mm). The figures will be listed on the Crann Tara web shop over the festive period and will be available for purchase from the 6th January 2014. Initially figures will be cast to order so please allow up to 21 days for delivery.

We have also acquired a limited stock of figures from the Disturbia range, so if you ilk is for Ju-Ju men, Sandmen or wierd scarecrows these figures will also be listed and will be sold at their 2007 prices! If things go well the aim is to continue to release the other ranges and add the new figures as we go.

Crann Tara Miniatures: Border Reivers Range Already Available!

Crann Tara Miniatures: Big News new figure range added all the new figures are now in stock and the shop has been updated, I have teamed up with Hoka Hey wargames to buy the Border Reiver range formerly sold under the Graven Images banner by Monolith designs. With over two hundred figures in the range we are now ready to go. Many of these figures were never released.

They were sculpted by the late Jim Bowen but we have found a sculptor who we think will complement Jims work and intend to continue to add to the range. Check out the shop. Re-Released Border Reivers Release Date Announced

Hoka Hay Wargames and Crann Tara Miniatures have just commented in an older post and on my email. And just to make sure nothing of this splendid news is lost I decided to post up the answers here.

Graham from Crann Tara Miniatures has responded that the official launch of the range will be at Smoggycon on the 23rd November. Both companies however hope to have them on their websites by the 1st November and available for sale.

Alan from Hoka Hey Wargames has responded that he will be attending Fiasco and may have some packs casted up by then. His website will be updated tomorrow.

Crann Tara Miniatures: Re-Released Border Reivers Range

Just found out that Crann Tara Miniatures and Hoka Hey Wargames have bought the old border reivers miniatures range from Graven Image. Together they will be releasing these miniatures soon but will also be releasing 100's of miniatures that were never released by Graven Images. To be honest I had never heard of the three companies involved but the range looks stunning!
