Black Powder Games released their second wave of Eagles of Empire Franco-Prussian War miniatures being the Prussians and French irregulars.

During one of owner Sören's blog posts he takes a  closer look at the daring Eagles of Empire French Francs-Tireurs which are now sold in boxed sets of 16 metal miniatures and according unit cards for the upcoming Eagles of Empire wargame rules due to be released in December. Next week he will be posting about the new Prussian infantry. Black Powder Games: Upcoming Eagles of Empire Prussian Infantry

Black Powder Games: Dear readers, after what seems like aeons of time I return to you with a small teaser on the coming Prussian boxed set of 16 minis for the Eagles of Empire range.

Since the official launch at this year's Hamburger Tactica, more releases have been brewing. More miniatures are being developed, and the Eagles of Empire Rules are going through some rigorous playtesting. As with the other boxed sets in the Eagles of Empire range, the Prussian Infantry box will also contain 16 minis, incl. officer, bugler/drummer and ensign. 

All you need to portray the Prussian Infantry of 1870, whether you're doing a small collection for skirmishing games or a larger multi-based collection for bag battalion battles. And let me add, that mounted officers will come as add ons later. They're in the sculpting pipeline. More updated to come soon on the French irregulars boxed set, the Franc-Tireurs, which is being developed and sculpted for a launch parallelly to the Prussians.

Black Powder Games: New Eagles of Empire Franco-Prussian Range Announcement

Just received this splendid new logo and brand name straight from Sören over at Black Powder Games for his upcoming Franco-Prussian army range! 

The slick logo was actually designed by the Alsace based illustrator Manu in close cooperation with a local reenactement group. The miniature range will already be launched in the first quarter of 2016.

Just been informed that one of my readers, Soren Christensen will be releasing an extensive and splendid range of Franco-Prussian War miniatures and scenery in early 2016. 

The full range will be sculpted by the more than talented sculptor Ebob of Ebob Miniatures. The first release wave will focus on the bulk of the necessary infantry while the second wave will contain scenery, cavalry, characters, guard units and artillery!
