Alan and Michael of Perry Miniatures announced the upcoming release of their Travel Battle - stand alone miniature wargame featuring 8mm plastic napoleonic miniatures!
This announcement came as a total surprise! Perry Miniatures have announced that they will hopefully release Travel Battle at Salute! Travel Battle is as the name says a complete miniature wargame in a box which can easily be taken on holidays and to your favorite gaming venues or your mate's home! The miniatures as shown below are the resin masters which are used to make the steel moulds for the plastic injection miniatures. The 8mm miniatures and scenery will be tooled and produced in hard plastic by Renedra.
There will be 160 infantry, 24 cavalry, 4 guns and crew plus 6 brigadiers in coloured plastic. These are divided into red and blue 'armies'. Note that these armies are designed to be quite generic so ideal for numerous armies and loads of fun wargaming hours! Stay tuned as more news will be published over the coming weeks.
