Rocket Games: Last Saga - Science Fiction Miniatures Previewed

Rocket Games: This is the stage that requires more work and time, as each mold (of more than 100) needs to be reviewed and revised several times before you can get the copies with necessary level for use as masters. These copies (6 per model) then have to be reviewed to remove any flash, micro bubble, etc. until each copy is just right, because any little mistake would then transferred to the metal copies.

We are working on copies of the last 4 models to begin production of the first batch of metals, including all models corresponding to the Guardian of Tanaor and the Council. Once we have all the masters of this first batch will go in person with our new caster to help in the production, so that this is ready in the shortest time possible.

Rocket Games: Last Saga Kickstarter Update with Miniatures and Free Rules!

Rocket Games: We are glad to bring you a big update to present the new version of the manual along the new renders, so here it is!

The beta v0.2 of the manual is here! It has a few improvements over the previous version. While the basic mechanics remain unchanged, some tweaking was needed, for example in the Damage Checks or in the Drift rolls for AoE based weapons. Also, the units and weapons received some balancing modifications. This is a little step forward. Of course, this is still a beta, so we will continue working during the next months to improve the manual for the final release of the game.

In the following link you can find the beta version of the manual 0.2, the new Recruitment Cards for all the unlocked units in the campaign and the "Area of Effect" templates, Counters and Markers.

In a next update we will include the complete list of units for all the factions (we need a little time to compile the list for presenting them). This is of course the 100 current units of Last Saga, their weapons, special rules and weapon options, including the cost in points.Moving on to a different matter, the Backerkit was opened last week for the people who missed the campaign. This way of access has the discounts offered during the campaign, but the Support and Reinforcement Packs, the Vanguard body swap, the exclusive Manticore, etc. will remain backer-exclusive.

Following this, a new unit for the Sovereign Empire will be added! The Jeuret Squatter will join the range of miniatures, offering another option for the Empire Combat Forces. This unit's Recruitment Card is already included on the Dropbox as an unlocked add-on. It will be added to Backerkit. when we can show its concept art, currently being worked on. Rocket Games: Last Saga Kickstarter Final Hours!

Rocket Games: Last Saga is a skirmish wargame based on 32mm miniatures. Different factions fight against each other in a science-fiction universe. Games portray confrontations between two small groups of units, filled with action and where tactics are key to victory. In a Last Saga game each player uses between 6 and 15 miniatures. Here are some of the latest developments as announced by Nicolas Diaz of Rocket Games.

• Four factions: The Council, Uruhvel, Raiders of Saanar and Sovereign Empire; all eligible starter packs, and additional models as reinforcements.

• Loads of concept arts and renders, also waiting for 3D prints, the production of The Council starter pack will begin shortly. Not too much time before we can show the first metal copies!

• Mati “Badsmile” is collaborating with us traditionally sculpting models for the Sovereign Empire!

• The beta game system has been tested by many backers with very satisfying results, giving also tons of priceless feedback we will be using to improve the next version. You can find the Kickstarter here but be quick if you don't want to miss the many great deals!
