Footsore Miniatures & Musketeer Miniatures: Footsore Miniatures are happy to announce the launch of our new website. The new website now has all the old Musketeer Miniature ranges included in the store which, judging from the emails, a lot of you are keen on being able to purchase again. The new website can be found here. All ranges are available from our UK factory as of from now. 

Our US factory will have all ranges available by the end of January when we finish making all the production molds. That said, the original Footsore ranges (Dark Age Irish, Late Saxons, Skraelings and FPW), are all available direct from the US factory now.The new website incorporates an articles section which we will be using to add hobby tips, news and additional ramblings for your amusement. Musketeer Miniatures: Musketeer Ranges Moving Back to The United States

Musketeer Miniatures: Its been a number years since Lord S and Darren at Gripping Beast took over the reins of running Musketeer Miniatures, and in that time we have seen many changes both for myself personally, and for Gripping Beast. I now find myself in the position of being able to take over the day-to-day running of Musketeer once more, and enable Gripping Beast to concentrate their efforts on their many new projects which are keeping them very busy. I'd like to send Lord S, Darren, Roger and Martin my immense gratitude and thanks for helping to keep the Musketeer ranges alive and kicking during this time, and making my move to the US possible. I couldn't have done it without them all so thank you guys.

Musketeer will be opening up in the US as soon as the logistics of transporting molds have been dealt with. The ranges currently available will be released one at a time as production molding takes place over time. I plan to continue production in the UK and this is being worked on at the moment too. Due to the logistics of this part of the reorganization, there may be a period when Musketeer ranges won't be available, but we hope to keep this time as short as possible depending on circumstances. Until then all Musketeer ranges will be still available from Gripping Beast until Sept 30th 2014.  This will be a large reorganizing and we'll announce more when there are firmer details available. Musketeer Miniatures: BUF Cavalry!

 Hi, I just found this long awaited release from Musketeer Miniatures, the place for all the "A Very British Civil War" fanatics and supporters. As you can see the new release brings us some dreaded BUF cavalry including a rather characterful command element. These men will be feared all around tabletop England for their speed and firing power and will crush many socialist flying columns on their bloody path. This release now makes the BUF faction almost complete as the dismounted cavalry will be soon released by Musketeer Miniatures. 

For those unfamiliar with the company Musketeer Miniatures makes 28mm white metal miniatures covering a whole series of different eras including their most excellent VBCW range. If I'm not mistaken all of these miniatures in the VBCW range are sculpted by the talented Paul Hicks while other ranges are sculpted by the company owner and freelance sculptors. No not yet another period, save the wallet! Here's a sunmary about the interwar range which includes these fictionnal miniatures: This range will cover the turbulent period between the World Wars. This was a time of rebellions, revolutions and civil wars that affected most of Europe. Currently we have figures for the Irish Wars of Independence some of which can be useful for other periods. British Infantry for this era can be found in our WW1. We also include figures for a fictional period, the British Civil War of 1938 which sees various factions and militias struggling against Mosley's BUF Blackshirts.

These miniatures are now available for £9.00 a pack which includes three mounts and riders.

Hi, here's another preview at some new Saxons sculpted by Bill T, these particular miniatures are called Aella and his loyal bannerman. The character names Aella was a Northumbrian king in the middle of 9th century. These miniatures are really great sculpts fit for a king!

Hi, here are the new Horsa and Hengist miniatures from Musketeer Miniatures. The release of these miniatures was announced on the blog of Bill the owner of the company. Horsa and Hengist were Germanic brothers and were the first ones to conquer territories in Britain during the 5th century. These miniatures could be easily used as warchiefs for Saga Anglo-Saxons and other factions.
