Going Native: Warpath, new spirit beast!

Hi, I just found this new creature from the Going Native Kickstarter from Paymaster Games

"The Lake Monster found in the lakes of the americans are know by meny names, Ogopogo, Memphre, Nahuelito, Champ, Ouampenanagoag, just to name a few. But all of these bease share similar traits like a long neck, and is very long. Some cryptozoological ideas have the american lake monster being a plesiosaur or ancient whale. Give the climate these monsters are found, others believe that they are much more likely related to a Sturgeon. This is a special Spirit Beast will be made available to all levels Warrior and above as a Spirit Beast add on upon reaching $7000. If we reach the $9000 goal by Tuesday 10/30, every one that has the Wise Old Fox level kit or above will recieve one American Lake Monster for no additional cost."

Going Native: Warpath update

Hi, I just found this news from the Going Native kickstarter which can be found here.

"Going Native: Warpath is real close to reaching the campaign goal. We felt that it was time for some updates.I am proud to announce that Ian Mountain just finished the Pacific Northwest War Chief. This is the planned War Chief for the Pacific Northwest Tribes War Party Starter Kit. This model was inspired by photos of the Kwakiutl (Kwakwaka'wakw) tribe taken in the early 1900s."

Going Native: Warpath!

Hi, I just found yet another interesting Kickstarter campaign for a new miniature wargame called Going Native: Warpath! The idea behind this skirmish ruleset is to pitch war parties from North America, South America, Canada and even Australia against eachother supported by powerful heroes and bizarre creatures such as an Orka Dog for the Inuits and all sorts of other cool creatures.

The concept of the game is based on the pre-european conquest of the New World so no gunpowder or iron armour but instead bow and spear! The intention of the creator was to make sure that we can play a yet undiscovered fascinating period filled with brave heroes and fierec warriors in an attempt to gain glory or the favor of the gods who can take part in the bloody battles.

The first starter set will be the Aztec Triple Alliance hopefully followed by the Pacific Northwest Tribes as these miniatures will be the eventual goal of the kickstarter as most of the Aztec faction miniatures are already sculpted. If you're interested here's the link to the Kickstarter page and make sure you check out the nice artwork and the pledge levels.
