Gang Fight Games: Pulp Fantasy Magic Prohibition RuneRunners Game

Gang Fight Games: We are just starting the concept phase of our next game, tentatively named Runerunners. It’s a gangster “pulp” fantasy skirmish game set in the early 1900’s when magic (instead of booze) has been outlawed. We will probably start sculpting and development early next year after Blackwater Gulch goes to print and we have a lot of downtime waiting on production to happen. Here is some of concept art we’ve had done so far.

Gang Fight Games: Western Horror Blackwater Gulch Second Edition Kickstarter Launched

Gang Fight Games: Blackwater Gulch is a Western Horror skirmish game featuring infamous gangs, savage beasts, ravenous dead and malevolent creatures.

A massive gold rush brought a flood of greedy fortune-seekers to Blackwater Gulch, sending prospectors out into the wild to stake their claim, strip-mine the land and and defile sacred grounds, all in search of just one more chunk of that yellow rock. Rampant gang violence erupted in the streets, and fiendish things stalk unsuspecting travelers and treasure hunters on the outskirts of town. These are dark times indeed, but all is not lost. Even among outlaws, heroes emerge to combat this dark threat before the town becomes consumed by evil. Will you fight to save Blackwater Gulch, or fight to destroy it?

Blackwater Gulch is a character-driven tabletop skirmish game featuring gangs of mortals and immortals all vying for control of the land and its resources. You and your friends will collect and build gangs from our highly detailed miniatures and do battle in the town streets and outskirts for fame, fortune, glory or survival. Games are fast and fun, and usually only take about 30-60 minutes to play. The rules are simple to learn, yet provide a great deal of thematic and cinematic actions and events, and valuable loot can be found and used to give your gangs an edge over their enemies.

With your help we hope to fund the production costs for our new Blackwater Gulch Second Edition Gameworld Ruleset, along with 3 new Gang Starter Sets which will be produced in highly detailed plastic and include the character cards that show what each miniature can do in the game. The Blackwater Gulch Second Edition Gameworld Ruleset includes 1 full color 120+ Page Hardback rulebook, 1 deck of 54 Loot Cards, 6 custom 6-sided dice and a collection of thick cardstock tokens that can be used to keep track of special damage effects, objectives or loot caches.

Gang Fight Games: Where Gunslingers and Savage Creatures Meet - Blackwater Gulch Second Edition Kickstarter

Gang Fight Games announed the upcoming launch of their Blackwater Gulch Second Edition Kickstarter  to fund their Western/Horror skirmish game featuring infamous gangs, savage beasts, ravenous dead and malevolent creatures.

The Blackwater Gulch Second Edition Gameworld Ruleset includes 1 full color 120+ Page Hardback rulebook, 1 deck of 54 Loot Cards, 6 custom 6-sided dice and a collection of thick cardstock tokens that can be used to keep track of special damage effects, objectives or loot caches. Click here to download the rulebook preview PDF (still a work in progress), and click here for a PDF sample showing all of the Loot Cards.

The digital sculpted Blackwater Gulch miniatures for the three starter sets being the Unsung, a band of monster hunting drifters. The Wicked, a coven of demons and undead creatures and lastly, the Wormwood Wardens, a vicious Skinwalker (were-beast) pack have been previewed. These miniatures will be casted in resin, in one piece with integral base by Prodos Games known from their Alien vs Predator and Warzone miniatures and games.

Prepare to face deadly creatures, enemy gangs and other dangers in a weird wild west universe with the Blackwater Gulch Second Edition. The Kickstarter is launching on the 29th of August! Check the preview Kickstarter page here

Gang Fight Games: Upcoming Weird West Curse of the Skinwalker Boardgame Kickstarter

Gang Fight Games: So, I know this is a miniatures forum, but I also know a bunch of folks here were interested in our skirmish game, Blackwater Gulch. So I wanted to come by and introduce our new game, Bad Lands: Curse of the Skinwalker! It’s basically the board game version of BWG, with a “weird west” setting. Bad Lands is a Co-Op Western Horror Survival Game where you play the roles of rival gang members turned town defenders, forced to put their differences aside to fight off a vicious onslaught of Skinwalkers (were-beasts) and many other folklore creatures.

Curse of the Skinwalker is the first game, focusing on werewolves and other were-things, along with other corrupted animals like Jackalopes or Chupacabras. We do have other separate-but-compatible games planned for other themes, this is just the first.

The game is fast and fun and easy to learn. It plays similar to other survival games like Zombicide, you can use the heroes right out of the box for a quick game, or build your own heroes, adventures and campaigns totally from scratch and earn fame and fortune RPG-style. The game shares many similar rules with our skirmish game, Blackwater Gulch. You can use any BWG miniatures in your games if you wish, since we'll have downloadable Hero Cards for every BWG character, or you can use them for your own custom heroes. There are no miniatures in Bad Lands though, we will be using cardstock pawns similar to games like Pathfinder to keep the prices way down. We will do miniatures later on though, but first we need to get the core game funded. We're planning to launch the game on Kickstarter on February 1st if all goes well. We're working on the "how to play" video and hope to have that done in a few days to a week or so.

We've been working on this game for the last 2 years now and are really excited to see it all finally coming together! So, head on over to our website to check it out! You can see some more pictures and also download the preview rulebook.

Gang Fight Games: Mechadrome - Heavy Metal Combat Kickstarter

Gang Fight Games: Hundreds of years from now, the greatest sport the galaxy has ever known will explode on your screens as everyone watches their favorite teams of giant Mechs beating each other to scrap. Mechadrome is a "Mech Combat Gladiator Arena Skirmish Game" set in the far future where man and alien races have come together, forming teams that do battle in arenas set in abandoned, war-torn cities and industrial zones.

The game is simple, fast and fun, and the Mech models we hope to create with this Kickstarter campaign offer a wide variety of customization. The pieces are universal and can easily be glued to any Mech for lethal combinations of cannons, pistols, missile pods, and devastating melee weapons like jackhammers, buzzsaws and siege drills. Lots more on their kickstarter page here.
