Warlord Games: New Mounted and Dismounted Comanche Warriors Released

Warlord Games: This week sees the release of more Comanches in conjunction with Conquest Miniatures. The Comanches were fierce warriors who lived on the Southern Plains. They were formidable opponents who developed strategies for using traditional weapons for fighting on horseback. Warfare was a major part of Comanche life.

Conquest Miniatures: Mounted Shawnee Indians

Hi, I just found this release of the Mounted Shawnee Indians from the joint-venture of Conquest Miniatures and Warlord Games for the Black Powder range. I really love these miniatures both their detail as poses look stunning. I would not mind putting a rogue and of these upon my table to harass some settlers or rangers. I was even wondering if it would be possible to convert them to post-apocalyptic riders but that idea would just ruine these gorgeous pieces. Conquest and Warlord Miniatures: French and Indian Wars French starter set!

Hi, here's another post about the great new releases of the Warlord Games and Conquest Miniatures joint-venture. This time I will tell some more about the French starter set which is also designed for the "Musket and Tomahawk" ruleset. This particular set also includes 18 miniatures of which 12 are regular French Line infantry. The rest of the miniatures are the command element which consists out of six miniatures such as banner bearers, drummers and officers. I think this set is a good starter set for every wargamer that wants to play some small skirmishes set in the Indian and French Wars and can be used with almost every available ruleset on the market. The price of this boxed set is £27.50.

Conquest and Warlord Miniatures: French and Indian Wars British starter set!

Hi, here are some pictures of the long awaited French and Indian Wars British Wilderness starter set which is a cooperation between Conquest miniatures and Warlord Games! This particular set will be released in mid-august and will be accompagnied by two other sets of which I will tell more in later posts as they are too awesome too be put in a single post. These miniatures are specially put in a boxed set for the new "Musket and Tomahawk" ruleset which is created by the same French designers as the well-spread "Saga" rules.

This boxed set includes 18 miniatures of which 12 are regular British infantry in their famous redcoats while another six miniatures represent the command element of the force. The boxed set also includes a small leaflet with information and flags you can use! I'm really fond of the great artwork of the box created by a talented chap called Peter Dennis! Take a look they are way too cool! The price for this set is £27.50.

Conquest Miniatures: British Grenadiers and Ottawa Warband!

Hi, I have just seen that Conquest Miniatures has shown some pictures of their new releases which include two pack of British Grenadiers suited for the French and Indian War and three packs of Ottawa Indian warriors! If you buy the Ottawa warband you also receive an exclusive Sachem miniature! All of these new releases will be released on the first of July.

First of all we have the two British grenadier packs of which one is a firing pose pack while the other are grenadiers in marching pose. The firing line miniatures come in two variants which are both shown and the marching poses come in four variants. Each of these packs includes four miniatures.

The second batch of releases are the Ottawa Indians which are divided in three packs each containing six miniatures with no identical poses! if you buy the entire warband which contains all three packs you receive an exclusive Sachem model which you can see below.
