Victrix: Medieval Foot Knights: Update! We have now finished the sculpting of the Medieval foot knights and happy to show you some renders of the new figures 6, 7 and 8 alongside a plethora of poses from the first 5 figures. This set is going to be another beauty. Figure 6 is in all mail with some new helmet styles. A Phrygian style with a riveted central spine and a bowl helmet often used by the Spanish. Figures 7 and 8 are in surcoats and we have added an option for a 13th Century Iron flail mace or ‘Scorpions tail’ as it was commonly known. These were used from around 1200 onwards.
A trumpet arm and new standard bearer arm have been added to make some command stand figures. We have also added a new Helmet based on the Richard 1st seal with a crest. The crest is a separate piece so is optional. All the heads from this Foot Knights set will be interchangeable with the mounted Knights heads so there will be tons of variety and crossover between both sets. These are now with the Layup department and will soon be off to the tool room to join the release queue. Work on the Medieval foot sergeants has started and we hope to show you some renders of their progress in a few weeks.
