Victrix: New Plastic Late Roman Unarmoured Infantry Preview

Victrix: The unarmoured Late Roman infantry are almost with us! We have some photos to show you of the plastic figures from the test frames. As you can see these have great detail and character. The set represents Late Roman infantry of the 4th and 5th Century AD. There is a huge amount of head variants to show the many different helmet styles used by the Romans of this period, and we have sword, hand axe, spear and dart arm options.

The set can also be used for Romano British, Goth/Germanic and Early Byzantine troops as we have added a large variety of heads and accoutrements such as cloaks to add distinctive flavours for all these warrior types. The command frame contains a mix of armour styles for the commanders, Centurions and chieftains. We have scale armour and breastplates plus some very fancy helmets with lots of additional crests and plumes. We have also included some striking looking Draco standards and a vexillum. Steve at LBMS has also produced a gigantic range of transfers for these Late Roman sets covering Romans, Arthurian, Byzantine and Goth which we will share in the coming days. These will be ready to launch with the figures!
