Rory Crabb Games: Fighting Iron - Naval Wargame Rules for the Ironclad and Pre -Dreadnought Eras


Rory Crabb Games: Fighting Iron is a set of wargame rules for recreating naval battles during the era of Ironclads and Pre-Dreadnought battleships covering the time period of 1860 (the launch of the first ironclad) to 1906 (the launch of the first modern big gun, steam turbine driven battleships, HMS Dreadnought) including the American Civil War.

The rules can be used with various miniature scales ranging from 1/600 to 1/3000. Rules are included for command and control, manoeuvringin squadrons, sailing and steam vessels, gunnery, ramming, damage and morale. Ship data for the following navies covering the approximate period of 1860 to 1900 is also inclued with the rules.
