Northstar Miniatures: As those of you who follow North Star and Osprey Games will know, we had great plans for the launch of the fantasy mass battle game Oathmark: Battles of the Lost Age. We've been releasing figures for the last two years in anticipation of its release, we had free figures, limited edition figures and army deals all set to accompany the launch. And then COVID-19 happened to us all.
"Empires have fallen, and the land is broken. The great oathmarks that once stood as testaments to the allegiances and might of nations have crumbled into ruin. In this lost age, fealty and loyalty are as valuable as gold and as deadly as cold iron, and war is ever-present.
Created by Joseph A. McCullough, designer of Frostgrave and Frostgrave: Ghost Archipelago, Oathmark is a mass-battle fantasy wargame that puts you in command of the fantasy army you've always wanted, whether a company of stalwart dwarves or a mixed force with proud elves, noble men, and wild goblins standing shoulder-to-shoulder in the battle-line. Fight through an integrated campaign system and develop your realms from battle to battle, adding new territories, recruiting new troop types, and growing to eclipse your rivals… or lose what you fought so hard to gain and fall as so many would-be emperors before you."
We've been considering the best course of action, and decided as the book is here with us now, we'll release the book on its own immediately. From today you can order the book. The plan is to still give you an Oathmark miniatures release, but later on when shops are back open and North Star is fully staffed again. This will include the new Elf Light Infantry, the limited edition Dragon, Army Deals including free figures and we will work out a way so that everyone who ordered the book still gets a free Sorcerer figure when they order some figures later on.
If you just order the book today, you'll get priority service. If you add anything else to the order, it may hold things up, but not too long, maybe up to a week. How keen are you to get Oathmark in your hands? Thank you very much for your support both now and in the past, and I hope things start to look brighter for us all soon.
