Fatman Productions: Awakening: Recon is a miniature strategy game that explores exactly that. The first skirmishes between races in a galaxy with ever dwindling resources. The game is a fast paced, strategic miniature wargame, meant to engage both veteran and casual players alike.
The complexity of the game comes from the players ability to construct their force, however he or she sees fit, adjusting to each player’s style of play. Each of our four unique races plays differently from one another, enabling innovative strategy in every game you play.
Every perk has a description of what you will receive as a reward for choosing it. In most of them, you will have to choose among the different packs. At the end of the Indiegogo we will send you an e-mail asking you what options you would like to choose for your Perks. As the campaign progresses new choices will be available. To upgrade your perk you will only have to make an extra contribution adding the difference between the two perks. Go to contribute now and add the amount without choosing any perk. Then let us know in a comment. Check the available pledges and miniatures here.
Awakening: Recon is a miniature game set in our galaxy thousands of years in the future. The Awakening was the arrival of the Ipse to our galaxy, a species completely alien to all of our galaxy's life forms. The races now compete for the ever scarcer resources of the galaxy, sometimes coming into conflict with one another. This is the main focus of the game, the initial skirmishes between the mysteriousIpse, the human coalition of mega corporations called The Consortium, a tribal race of amphibious aliens called the Dagonians, and the hermit Alphas, the remnants of a fallen civilization.
It's our firm decision to have high quality miniatures that provides to the gamer with detail figures to the more expert painter and easy to paint to the newbie. Our miniatures will be resin casted and mostly with 44 mm tall, depending in the miniature pose. We have decided to produce the miniatures in our headquarters in Portugal in order to keep the cost as low as possible and the quality control in high standards.
