Elladan Miniatures previewed these Draugar, undead creatures known from Old Norse and Germanic Mythology. Based on the villains from a hugely popular fantasy series!
Actually just stumbled upon these on a forum and immediately thought, these look awesome. So here they are in all their undead glory and painted just like the ones of the television series. These miniatures were sculpted by the talented Stefan Niehues from BeesPutty. In the picture you can see:
- A Draugr with an icetipped spear on an undead horse
- A conjuring Draugr Lord with an icesword slung to his back
- A Draugr with an icesword in his hand
- Two Skeleton-Dollies
If nothing will go wrong these miniatures (in metal by the way) will be available at the popular german convention Tactica in Hamburg this weekend. You can buy them at the stand of „Stronghold-Terrain“. One or two weeks later they will be available online too.
The prices for casts in metal will be 6,90 EUR for each of the standing models and 12,90 EUR for the mounted one. I will also sell all three together as set for 24,90 EUR (saving about 7%). Perhaps there will be a strictly limited offer of resin casts in master quality at a higher price and perhaps additional scenic bases later.
I will also release a set of two different skeleton-dollies for 5,50 EUR. These are done in a very realistic scale and style, totally without any cloth or armour. They could be perfectly used to decorate dungeons or dioramas, to be a starting point for a self made skeleton warrior/army or to be used as a dollie for sculpting new models.
