Karwansaray Publishing: We just sent issue 82 of WS&S off to the printer and we expect to have it back in our offices before Christmas.
While that's a nice quick turnaround time, and we plan to send it to subscribers as soon as possible, given the chaos that is holiday post (especially outside Europe), paper subscribers shouldn't expect to get their copies before the holidays. We're sure with all the other goodies you'll be receiving however, that the extra wait won't be too painful! In this edition's theme, we take a look at the desert campaigns of WWII, with a special focus on the Italians. You can find a complete list of the issue's contents on our website. Karwansaray for the holidays
Our books and magazines make great holiday gifts (and yes, we offer gift certificates if you aren't sure what to buy). However, the window left to ensure that your order arrives in time for Christmas is now quite small. Given the nature of international mail around this time of year, we can't make any absolute guarantees that your package will arrive in time, regardless of when you order. However, if you stick to the following dates, you will likely receive your package in time: Outside Europe: December 9th; Inside Europe: December 16th. Please keep in mind that the 17th is the last date that we can guarantee any shipping before the holidays; after that point, our offices will close for staff vacation until after New Year. While we will be doing some shipping and customer service during that period, but please expect longer response times for your emails and less frequent order shipment.
