Just found this fun Kickstarter by Drink&Play to fund some cheap dungeon coasters for roleplaying and wargaming! Did I already mention they are Belgian so they certainly tested these coasters well!
And always great to support a Belgian tabletop wargaming related project, as I don't see those often! Here's what they have to say: On average, Belgians drink 84 litres of beer each year (... ) Most beers are bought or served in bottles, rather than cans, and almost every style of beer has its own particular, uniquely shaped glass or other drinking-vessel.Using the correct glass is considered to improve its flavor.
A role-playing game is a game in which players assume the role of characters in a fictional setting. Players take responsibility for acting out these roles within a narrative, either through literal acting or through a process of structured decision-making or character development.
A coaster, drink coaster, beverage coaster, or beermat is an article used to rest beverages upon. The purpose is to protect the surface of a table or any other surface where the users might place their beverage.
And now like an old good Alchemist let's brew all those elements together. Can you hear the crackling sound of the fire? Can you smell the mystical fragrance of what is boiling in the pot? Of course not, this is all fictional, but... next time while you're playing with your friends and you look at the table, don't you want to see.... this?
