Ares Magazine: What games are you giving away? We’re giving one game away for every 50 people who enter. There are two limits. Only the first 10,000 entries will be processed and we will give away no more than 200 of any one title. It’s unlikely that we’ll reach either limit, but we need to let you know, just in case.
Entrants may select any one of the six different Millennium Wars titles or our notorious Politics as Usual game. Millennium Wars is a series of strategic-level, two-player simulations of possible current and near-future conflicts. Interestingly, both the Iraq and Ukraine sets pre-modeled scenarios that played out in Iraq and are now playing out in the Ukraine.

Politics as Usual is a wild, multiplayer card game that lets players run the campaigns of their favorite candidates in a bid for the White House. Up to ten lucky winners of a Politics as Usual game will also receive a Politics as Usual — Unusual Suspect Expansion Set
How does the contest work?
We are giving away one game for every 50 entrants. When you enter, you get to choose which game you want if you win. If you choose a Millennium Wars game, you will be automatically entered to win the Six-Pack, which includes all six sets! If you choose Politics as Usual, you will be automatically entered to win one of ten expansion sets. You can earn up to four chances to win! Tell your friends, because increasing the number of entrants increases the number of games we give away! I can have more than one chance to win?! How?!

How will I know if I win? And how do I get my game?
Our contest runs March 7 through March 28 and winners will be selected on March 29. You will be sent a promo code by email along with instructions on how to retrieve your game at the One Small Step Games website.
Will I have to pay for shipping? How much?
Yes. Shipping charges are $4.00 for Domestic US and $8.00 for anywhere else. However if you are an Ares Magazine subscriber, we will ship your game for free. Subscribers have it so easy. Shipping is free for subscribers to Ares Magazine? What’s that? Ares Magazine is the latest project of One Small Step Games, which was funded through a successful Kickstarter in January. Ares is a full-size science-fiction magazine that includes a ready-to-play board game in each issue.
Readers can expect about 60 pages of new fiction with 20 additional pages of interviews, articles, and advertising. The magazine will come with a complete board game composed of a rule book, a few hundred die-cut playing pieces, and a large map. All that will be wrapped up and delivered to subscribers’ doors. An e-Reader subscription is available for customers who are interested only in the fiction.
Will I get my game in time for Tabletop Day?
That depends on the U.S. Postal Service. Most packages tend to take four or five days to go from one side of the coast to the other. We can’t guarantee you’ll get your game in time to play it for Tabletop Day—but we hope so!
