Here's the second part of my Crisis Convention picture report showing you even more nice wargame tables and miniatures. You can find the previous part over here. Remember to click the pictures for larger photos.
Here are some pictures of the nice 20mm World War Two operation Goodwood game by the Dortmund Amateur Wargamers. Although there name suggests amateurs I must say this was an impressive lay-out with a great dike feature and awesome amounts of great 20mm miniatures and vehicles.
Another impressive lay-out was a two-level wargame table by the Tin Soldiers of Antwerp showing an epic clash of Warmachine armies on the surface and beneath the surface. I have also added a picture of a very niceley painted Warmachine chariot which was probably taken out as it was stored on the side of the table.
Following we have this nice 20mm display of an Napoleonic square which was shown on the Schilling Figuren stand. At that stand they were also casting miniatures and it was great to see the actual progress of casting miniatures in spin moulds.
Another nice table was the jungle table of Red Star Miniatures, creators of the splendid Paul Hicks Dien Bien Phu range. On the table you can see a nice array of jungle vegetation and some of the new miniature additions of the 28mm range.
Better view of the table with troops crossing the jungle river in search of enemies.
15mm World War Two Normandy Landing game not sure but think this game was played by the Green Knights club using the Battlegroup Overlord ruleset. In the second picture you can see the hinterland of the beach with german reinforcemnet slowly getting to the beach defenses.
Another nice 15mm World War Two set-up probably representing the Battle of the Bulge using the Flames of War rules. Very nice winter terrain and miniatures were shown here, must admit I can't remember which club was playing on this table.
So yet another load of nice pictures, stay tuned for the final part of this series.
