Victrix: Upcoming Plastic Republican Romans, Greek Peltasts and Latin-Allied Legionaries!

Victrix Miniatures: At present, we at Victrix Ltd are working on quite a few new sets. Greek Peltasts/Javelinmen and unarmored Hoplites, with archers and slingers to go in each box. Republican Romans in chainmail, square pectoral armor and Latin-allied legionaries in mixed-style armor and helmets.

Now these are taking a bit longer than we thought. The technology we are using to create these new sets is still a bit new to us, so we are still learning as we go, but things are all slotting into place nicely. We should have images of the full Greek sets to show in about three week's time. However, we do have a few more sample components to show you. There are lots more heads in the set than shown here, and the neck joints will be added to create a universal neck to accommodate all heads. Weapon hands, crests, and shields will be shown in a week or so, plus the other two body positions. The archer pulling an arrow from his quiver on his back will have an alternate arm position loading an arrow.

Initial thoughts had been to start cutting metal in October, but this is slipping to November, and release will be after Christmas now, unfortunately. Hopefully, they will be on sale as early in January as possible. So a bit of a delay on the new stuff, but all still looking good on the new releases front. As a reward for all our customers' patience, we are running a 25% off sale on on all our plastic boxed sets, bases and movement trays.
