Able to blast foes, enhance undead troops or even buff living models, the Mortifex is a versatile warlord not restricted to undead warbands.
Besides his magical abilities, he is also well-armored and competent in melee, with the ability to cast spells even when he is engaged. Followers sworn to defend him can save the Mortifex from fatal blows, while his Spirit Shroud protects him from missiles and magic attacks, making him exceedingly resilient, (especially when combined with his magic armor and talisman).
