Black Hat Miniatures announces: We aim to produce a range of 28mm WW1 French Halflings to provide opposition to our existing WW1 German Goblins. We recently bought the WW1 German Goblin range from Goblin Garrison. This provides a large range of goblins in WW1 dress (both with Pickelhaube and Stalhelm) and were originally visualised as opposition to Hasslefree Miniatures' Kindred WW1 British Halflings and Russian Dwarves.
We want to produce a range of WW1 French Halflings to complement the Kindred and to provide a complete range for Black Hat Miniatures with two races to fight each other. We could release the range slowly over the next year (as we've have done with other ranges) but are hoping that Kickstarter will provide the funds to produce the range in one go and thus provide people with a complete range of WW1 French Halfling troops.
The initial greens for the first release in the range have already been produced by our sculptor Adam Gayford (better known as Whiffwaff) providing 5 different riflemen figures, a sergeant and an officer and an LMG team. Pledges of £28 and above will also receive our exclusive Kickstarter only figure of a French General.
The initial Kickstarter funds will pay for the sculpting and the costs of producing the moulds and the initial production run. After the initial run is funded then we will add additional stretch goals to add extra figures to the range. Interested? Here's the link to the Kickstarter.
