Hi, I just found this excellent 28mm Mantis Assassin from Rebel Miniatures! "The Mantis Assassin is a 28mm scale Alien life form from a distant planet. This is a multi-part metal model and is perfect for your Sci-Fi gaming! Model is supplied unpainted! Check out the other Mantis Aliens!" To be honest I always thought that Revel Miniatures was only making 15mm miniatures and suddenly I found this big beasty in one of their ranges! This particular model is part of the Mantis range which contains three different classes of these savage insects, the first thing I though when I saw these was Starship Troopers!

Funny you should say that. Rebel picked up the molds for a handful of models from Mongoose's old Starship Troopers game. This one, the space scorpion and the tiny mite thing are all from SST.
No really? wasn't aware of that the insects looked like the warrior bugs and I immediatly thought SST! Thanks for the information RabidChild!
