Games Worskhop: Finecast, the way to go?

Hi, I just stumbled upon this picture of a nice Games Workshop Dweller in the Dark of their Finecast Lord of the Rings range. The owner of this piece shared this picture on a forum saying he had painted the model a month ago and painted it, now a month later the great looking model but made of Finecast has completely bended towards the table! I would be enraged to see my precious painting time and money go to waste! The bending is probably a heat problem but you would at least expect your models remain in same state what ever the temperature (if within boundaries of course!).

What do you guys think of this great new medium of Games Workshop to produce lower quality models, selling them at newer prices and announcing them as new models? I can't still believe what they now charge for the four model command units €30?

GW are getting beyond the pail. Their prices are now ridiculous and they now engineer rules to make it necessary to keep buying the latest releases or find your army is no longer competitive.

The finecast example you've shown is also shocking. I'd take it back and ask for a full refund.

Yes, they are really going mad but I'm afraid the prices will even rise more with the release of the Hobbit movie miniatures!
