Karwansaray Publishing: Rails to the Front: The Role of Railways in Wartime Book Pre-Order

Karwansaray Publishing: We know it's been a bit quiet in our book division recently, but with the fall and winter season approaching, that's about to change! First off, we're very excited to announce a release planned for early next year. Rails to the Front: The Role of Railways in Wartime is a beautifully illustrated 250-page hardback by railway experts Guus Veenendaal and Roger Grant.

From the Crimea to the Cold War, this book examines the history and development of trains and railways in war. The first, Dutch edition of this book has already been a big seller in The Netherlands. Our revised and expanded English edition included additional sections focused specifically on the wartime usage of railways in America, plus more photographs and illustrations than ever before. We plan to offer more information about Rails to the Front as the release date approaches, but for now, you can already pre-order your copy through our webshop and receive a slight discount off the normal retail price. We hope this book will be a must-read for railway and military history enthusiasts alike! Pre-order your copy now here and own this beautifully illustrated book!
