Perry Miniatures: Napoleonic British Army 1800-15 - Stovepipe Shako Introduced
Perry Miniatures: Napoleonic British Army 1800-15 - 28mm metal figures designed by Alan Perry. The original 1815 range is now being extended back in time to 1800, when the stovepipe shako was first introduced.
The codes up to BH 67 have been designed for the Waterloo campaign; however, there are many codes that can be used prior to this particular campaign. These include the Highlanders, Riflemen, Light Infantry, Light Dragoons, Royal Horse Artillery and the named Staff officers. All of these can be used for the Peninsular War and most for the American war of 1812. The extended range will encompass the British troops who served in Egypt, India, South Africa, Denmark, Hanover, Italy, North and South America, the West and East Indies as well as the Peninsula.
Remember the plastic British Infantry (BH 1) and Hussar set (BH 80) covers the 1808-14 period as well as the Waterloo campaign. The plastic British Light Dragoon set (BH 90) covers the whole period. There will be a separate range for the axillaries who fought alongside the British during this period.

Shieldwolf Miniatures: Exclusive Hard-Plastic Fantasy Shieldmaiden Kickstarter News Revealed
Shieldwolf Miniatures has announced the following information about their upcoming second Kickstarter to fund their long-awaited hard-plastic shieldmaidens and other units.
The upcoming Fantasy Kickstarter's initial funding goals will allow the production of a hard-plastic chainmailed shieldmaiden infantry boxed set. The non-chainmail boxed set is also planned and included in the Kickstarter. A $100 pledge will field you a mighty army of 96 miniatures consisting out of both hard-plastic and resin and will be eligible for free stretch goals as they are unlocked.
This Kickstarter's main focus will be the hard-plastic infantry boxed sets at much lower initial stretch goals.The main reason for this choice is to be able to support the needed troop numbers for their upcoming fantasy ruleset War is Coming. These rules are currently be playtested worldwide and will be released for free during the Kickstarter with further continuous support guaranteed by Shieldwolf Miniatures. The rules are written to be used with square bases and will be regiment based.

The Kickstarter will also reveal some unique miniatures not seen on the previous Kickstarter. If the project is succesful, all the current resin regiments will be discontinued and sold until remaining stock is sold. These sets are the following: Heavy Skeleton Infantry, Light, Barbarian Infantry and Deatch Deceivers. The estimated launch date is at the end of 2015.

For this upcoming project Shieldwolf miniatures has teamed up with new companies to further increase the quality of their hard-plastic miniatures by refining their 3D sculpting. The hard-plastic sets will be again produced and tooled by the experienced team over at Renedra, leading specialist in hard-plastic injection moulding for wargame miniatures. Next to this the terrain section has been discontinued in the webstore and will be relaunched within 9 to 12 months with full line of new terrain items.
So as you can see quite a lot of news and I'm already looking forward in seeing the hard-plastic miniatures supported by their highly detailled resin miniatures. In the past I have reviewed their hard-plastic Mountain Orcs and resin Great Wolf Chariot and they are splendid. If interested you check the reviews out here.

I have bought the hardback book from Northstar Miniatures and was very pleased with the purchase! Amidst the frozen ruins of an ancient city, wizards battle in the hopes of discovering the treasures of a fallen empire. In this fantasy skirmish wargame, each player takes on the role of a wizard from one of ten schools of magic, and builds his band of followers. The wizard's apprentice will usually accompany his master, and more than a dozen other henchman types are available for hire, from lowly thugs to heavily armoured knights and stealthy thieves.
Wizards can expand their magical knowledge by unlocking ancient secrets and may learn up to 80 different spells. While individual games of Frostgrave are quick and can easily be played in an hour or two, it is by connecting them into an ongoing campaign that players will find the most enjoyment. The scenarios given in the book are merely the beginning of the limitless adventures that can be found amidst the ruins of the Frozen City.
Miniatures Wargames Magazine wrote, “For me, Frostgrave has a real flavour of the old school, fun tabletop adventuring that was prevalent when I first got into D&D… Recommended – especially for the money.” The Garage Gamers blog says “… it looks to become THE fantasy skirmish campaign game, and rightly so… It is a must have for any fantasy gamer!”

Radio Dishdash Publishing: Maalintii Rangers or Day of the Rangers is a Skirmish Sangin Battle Book and new miniatures range from Radio Dishdash Publishing Ltd.
On October 3rd and 4th 1993 a task force of US Rangers and elements of Delta Force were locked into a battle that was set to go down in history, first in the book "Black Hawk Down" and then in the film of the same name.
Here at Radio Dishdash Publishing we have long been fans both of the book and the film and feel it’s the next step for our game Skirmish Sangin to enable our players to be able to re-enact this famous battle. Skirmish Sangin, is a narrative skirmish wargame that has proven very popular and has helped shape the modern wargames genre. Skirmish Sangin has always positively reviewed, here is an example... Over the last six months we have been working hard to add Maalintii Rangers, our first Battle Book Supplement to our current line of products. The book has now been written, designed, produced and launched recently at Historicon.
We have also designed our initial line of US Rangers and DELTA. This range of figures can be used for US operations from the early 90’s through the early years of Afghanistan and Iraq. So this line will give the gamer a great deal of flexibility over approximately 15 years of U.S. historical and "What-If" based scenarios.
As you can see we have made a pretty good start to things but we see this as just that, a start. Our aim now is to hopefully fund this Kickstarter to grow this line of miniatures. The turntables below show you what we have designed and now have in production. We currently have the first eight 28mm Scaled U.S. Rangers and our first four 28mm scale Delta Force miniatures cast in metal and for sale. What we now want to do is grow this range. You can see renders of the Rangers below and actual figures created from these renders after that.

Stonehaven Miniatures: Halfling Adventurers Miniatures Kickstarter Launched
Stonehaven Miniatures: The Halfling Adventurers Project will produce a set of Halfling hero miniatures for dungeon-crawling, RPGs and 28mm tabletop wargames.
Halflings are a hearty folk. Consuming seven or more meals each day keeps them in fine form for questing and merrymaking. Although they deeply love savory vittles and pleasant company, they are surprisingly agile and deadly when pressed.
The Halfling Adventurers Miniatures Project is about creating miniatures to represent a set of Halfling heroes and their various pets, companions, and foods. Choose from any of our amazing Adventuring Parties. The goal here is simple: get the miniatures sculpted, cast, and distributed to all of you! We have a variety of stretch goals planned that will enhance and diversify your Halfling Adventurers.
The Halflings will represent a relatively balanced adventuring party and/or a selection of Halfling heroes to lead any fantasy army. The Halflings will be sculpted by sculptor Mike Evans on a 28 millimeter heroic scale and cast in lead-free white pewter metal; fitting well with almost all tabletop wargaming and RPG miniatures.
