Sally 4th: Blucher compatible Brigade Bases available now from Sally 4th. Chunky 3 ½” x 2 ½” Bases cut from 2mm MDF. Etched bases are a great way to mount your home made unit cards if you are not using miniatures to play Blucher or if you are using unit cards at the start of the battle until units are revealed. A range of basing products designed to be usable with Blucher, the latest wargame rules in the honor series by Sam Mustafa.
Blucher is jammed pack with innovative gaming ideas. A base represents a brigade, at the start of the game brigade bases are placed face down and are only revealed when identified. At this point the base is flipped over to reveal what type of brigade it is, and if you are using miniatures it can be replaced with a stand with miniatures mounted on them. A lot of games information is contained on the miniatures base including its stats, arc of fire and center point for measuring.
Sally 4th's Blucher basing products are based on a chunky 3 1/2" x 2 1/2" base. These are available either as a plain base to stick a flag on one side and a unit counter image on the other, or to use as a plain rectangular base for mounting your miniatures for the game. The other option is to purchase our Blucher style bases with the nation etched onto the back. This is an attractive and durable alternative to gluing a flag on to the back.
We have designed an alternative base for mounting figures on for Blucher Brigades. This has a line etched to make an area for gluing a set of stats to the base and has indents cut out of the front to market the centre of the unit and its arc of fire.
