Hi, here's a new post about one of my ongoing projects! Finally I have based and textured all the pieces in one go so they are ready to be painted. The shanty town will probably be used in a African setting with different generic factions such as rebels, NATO, UN and mercenary forces. I can't wait to paint up some technicals, white UN jeeps and trucks (does somebody knows where you can get UN decals?). As said the shanty town is made to represent an African township such as Soweto, the one pictured. For those who never heard of shanty towns: shanty towns are settlements of impoverished people who live in improvised dwellings made from scrap plywood, corrugated metal and sheets of plastic. These shanty towns are often built on the periphery of cities and are lacking basic necessities such as electricity and water.
First of all a storage tank which can hold water, fuel or grain and can be used as an important objective in a rebel brawl or a UN defense mission.
Another base which contains 4 dwellings and a storage tank/ living area.
The largest base which contains 4 dwellings and a walled courtyard.
I hope you enjoyed the new pictures!

Looking good - hope we can see them painted soon?
gr8 idea, Nice work
Yor're the most talented terrain-maker I ever seen! Great job!
Thanks everybody, I also hope they will be painted soon :p so they aren't lost in the unfinished terrainsection of my wargame room :p
Hot glued or pva? Looks like they would fly together, and based on the actual photo example you need a few gazillion more :)

They are all hotglued together I don't have the patience to use PVA for construction purposes.
Well, I think I have enough of them (well, maybe some more :p) But first of all I want to get these painted!
Greets,
Brilliant!
