Eagles of Empire Miniatures: With the ongoing Kickstarter (link) for Eagles of Empire now fully funded and heading towards Stretch Goal #1, perhaps it’s time for a closer look at all the new shiny metal goodies backers can look forward to receiving in the mail come march 2023!
THE NEW FULL COLOR CAMPAIGN BOOK
This new addition to the EoE skirmish rulebook system will be offering a chronological journey through the epic battles of the autumn and winter of 1870-71, fought to save Paris during the Franco-Prussian War. The built-in point system, Campaign Glory, delivers a clever way to replay the campaign by switching sides, and compete against a previous score.
NEW MINIATURES FOR THE LATE WAR PERIOD
For the Kickstarter we’re also launching a series of beautifully hand-sculpted miniatures portraying the scruffy and battle-hardened soldiers who desperately fought in the freezing autumn and winter battles of the Franco-Prussian War. For the French side we’re launching a set of Régiment de Marche, their standard line infantry of the late war period. For the German side, we’re sculpting a set of Bavarian line infantry wearing their massive winter greatcoats. Every miniature in a squad is individually sculpted and posed, to ensure the maximum animation and realism in your gaming units.
THE NEW VETERANS UPGRADE CARDS
Does your Line infantry squad need more punch? Do you need a medic to heal wounds in the unit, or how about a sniper to take our enemy officers? Why not attach a Veteran and give your Unit Card an upgrade on its stats! As a part of the Stretch Goals for this Kickstarter, we’re launching these 8 full color Veterans cards, which will give you a variety of new unique abilities boosting your troops performance, while offering an extra layer of tactical depth to your gaming experience.
