Far-Flung Miniatures: New The Silver Feather Adventure Guild Kickstarter! A new range of 28mm metal duck adventurer miniatures. This kickstarter is the launch of my new miniature company, Far-flung Figures, and its first range of 22 sculpts I've made for daring duck adventures in fantasy settings.
The miniatures are cast in a metal alloy, with mold making and casting done by Hagen Miniatures. As a new miniature maker I was inspired by their lovely 1/72 historical miniatures, and I was very happy when they accepted to work with me for the mold making and casting. The miniatures are supplied unpainted without bases. Ducks come in various size and shapes, and so do these miniatures. The smallest ones would be at home with halflings (the apprentice is 18mm to top of head) while some ducks grow tall indeed in the wilderness (Blackfeather the Wood Duck Barbarian is 30mm to top of head). The minis comes on plinths or integral bases instead of slottabases, which adds about a millimeter or two to the total height.
