Crucible Crush Productions: Flint and Feather Contact - Miniatures and Wargame Rules Kickstarter Launched!

Crucible Crush Productions launched their Flint and Feather Kickstarter to fund their  Flint and Feather Contact tabletop skirmish game rulebook and loads of new cool miniatures sculpted by sculptor Bob Murch of Pulp Figures fame! Venture into the wilderness of 17th century Northern America with Flint and Feather Contact now here on Kickstarter.

In the early 17th Century colonies from the European powers began to appear in earnest up and down the Atlantic coastline of North America. In 1604 and 1605 Acadia and Port Royal were settled and in 1608 New France was founded at Quebec City. Soon to follow, the Dutch and Swedish founded colonies in the Hudson River area of present day New York. The first permanent English settlement in the Americas was located on the northeast bank of the Powhatan (James) River and was called Jamestown. Our rules and figures portray the struggles of these early pioneers to the New World.

Flint and Feather is a tabletop skirmish game system of tribal warfare of the First Nations of the Great Lakes region. The Kickstarter for Flint and Feather was successfully concluded in June 2016 and we have followed this release up with How to Play videos and a successful Facebook Group. Flint and Feather Contact will be the first supplement to these rules providing a stand alone game that can be played using the first European powers in North America. You can also add this system to your Flint and Feather games and play out more of the conflict from this early period of European colonization.

The purpose of this Kickstarter is to get the Flint and Feather Contact Rule Book printed. It will be a 64 page (total) soft cover, perfect bound rulebook with 20 pages of colour, including cards and charts needed to play the game. This total may change as we achieve stretch goals. The colour cards will be included at the back of the book and you will be able to print them for use in the game. (This will be similar to the charts and cards printed in Flint and Feather.) It will have a MSRP of $32 when it is released.

Flint and Feather Contact will add new sculptures and new rules to the existing game system. It features European specialties including Merchant Trader, Coureur de Bois, Soldiers and Great Leaders and includes new abilities for Europeans including Units. The rules will also have new Combat Cards providing maneuvers for Europeans and new rules for Combat between Europeans and First Nations warriors. The Europeans will also have their own campaign system which will interlock with the current campaign rules. New Medicine Cards and Campaign Cards will also be required. There will be lots of new content for this period.

The game will also be a stand alone rulebook so that you will not need the original Flint and Feather to play with Europeans. If you wish to play with First Nations warriors vs Europeans the original rulebook is required.
