Renedra: Plastic Modular Wargame Tower Sprues Previewed

Renedra has previewed the frames for their upcoming hard plastic modular tower set ideal for your miniature roleplaying games such as Dungeon and Dragons and your miniature wargames!

The initial release will be the main tower with options to make hime either generic or fantasy themed. The future plans are to increase the number of available parts so you will be able to build an entire castle including sections of ramparts and crenellations .

The pieces in the picture are the lower and middle wall sections, upper wall sections and a frame with portcullis, doors and corner pieces. The next frame we are working on is the Tower crenellations with two different sets of gargoyle and wall torches. The last part is a base, this goes inside the top section, and another one on the top that if not glued will be easy to remove allowing figures to be placed inside the top section firing weapons from the windows.

Renedra - Plastic Tabletop Miniature Gaming Tower for Warhammer - Dungeons and Dragons

What we are planning to do is sell the basic Tower as a boxed set and the other sections will be bagged and can be bought as individual sections as to customers requirements. Prices haven't been finalised yet. Our priority is to get the Tower finished for Salute release from us. We will have a diorama on our trade stand of the front section showing how this can be converted to a castle. We will also have pictures that we have taken on the workbench showing different ways in which the parts can be assembled to customise the build.

I can see loads of potential for these high-quality plastic scenery kits as they will probably be both cheap and easy to get both online and brick and mortar stores. The options to create both a fantasy version suitable for Frostgrave, Warhammer, Age of Sigmar or Dungeon and Dragons like settings and a generic historical version will prove to be a big advantage in my opinion. So keep up, the good work Renedra and I'm confident that these scenery pieces will easily find their way on plenty of miniature tabletop gaming tables worldwide!
