Games Workshop previewed their new Warhammer 40K starter set named Battle for Vedros as part of their new build and play miniature model kits.
Some may have already heard that Games Workshop revealed their new build and play model kit range at Nuremburg Toy Fair. The aim of these new model kits is to reach the larger public by selling these easy to build miniatures through mainstreet retaillers along with model and hobby shops.
The miniatures are designed to be easy in assembly and will most likely come in precolored sprues being blue for the Space Marines and green for the savage Ork warriors. This would possibly save the children the effort to undercoat the models. The Games Workshop representative at the Nuremburg Toy Fair mentionned that these will be released with the same target groups in mind as the model kits from Airfix you build as a kid. The latest preview of this new Warhammer 40K build and play range is the big Battle for Vedros boxed set. The Battle for Vedros Starter Set allows you to fight out battles between the mighty Space Marines and feral Orks. As well as great models for you to build and play with, it includes the tale of the invasion of Vedros and all the rules you need to play along with glue, paint brushes and paint.
