Manorhouse Workshop: Modular Forgotten Halls Floors Previewed

Manorhouse Workshop: It’s time to talk about floors. Forgotten Halls’ floors have a system of pins and attachments, under them, that allows the floor panels to be attached together, creating a game board that can be moved easily all together. The floor is divided into 2 sections: the main body and the 3 inserts (2 big, 1 small) which can be added to the main section to create a plain floor.

Each of those 3 inserts can be taken out, allowing you to create sections of water canals of various shapes: a cross, a turn, straight, in multiple combinations. Of course, it doesn’t have be water there, it can be whatever you wish! Moreover, the insert system developed by Manorhouse Workshop allows something even more interesting:

As you can see, this system allows you to add other types of inserts, like the grate shown on the drawing, which fits perfectly with the rest of the floor and inserts. Also the wall inserts aren’t limited to simple torches, but can be dressed with various accessories, depending on what you need! As of now, we are just showing you another example, like a lantern, but who is to say that there couldn’t be a medieval standing suit of armor there instead, or any other accessory of your liking? We are also showing you the CAD drawings made by Michele Bottalico, to complete this article.
