Peter Pig has just launched a range of 15mm Vikings! The range will start quite small, as there are lots of other things we are working on. The figures are one-piece castings. The accompanying rules should be out in June 2013. The rules are called Longships - Wrath of the Vikings. It will be 9th-Century-based. Think of Uthred in the Cornwell books and The Whale Road book. A typical army will be five units, each of eight bases. About 130 figures to an army. Men live and die as complete bases. Table size 5' x 3'. The rules are split into "battle" and "raids" sections. Games last about two hours. The packs in the range features eight figures in three poses. There will be buildings, too. We hope to have some packs ready for the York show on February 3rd.
